Ashli is a lifelong resident of the 30th District. Beginning her education in Federal Way Public Schools, she was a student at Rainier View Elementary School, Illahee Middle School, and, later, she attended Sequoyah Middle School in its inaugural year. Ashli and her family are parishioners of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Federal Way. Accordingly, she and her three younger siblings all attended Bellarmine Preparatory School where they were able to receive an academically challenging and faith enriching education. After graduating from Bellarmine in 2011, Ashli went on to Boston University where she ran both division-one cross country and track, and double majored in international relations and political science. Upon graduating from Boston University’s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies in 2015, she became the first in her family to graduate from college with a bachelor’s degree.Ashli’s passion for political activism and community outreach began in 2015 when she campaigned in former State Representative Teri Hickel’s special election race against Democrat Carol Gregory. After helping Teri secure her seat in the Legislature, Ashli went on to work for the Washington State Republican Party where she worked her way up through several positions over three years. First, as finance assistant. Then, as communications director. And, finally, as finance director. In 2018, Ashli left the WSRP to fulfill her childhood dream of becoming a lawyer by starting law school at Seattle University School of Law. When COVID-19 shut down Washington State in March 2020, and domestic violence cases increased as a result, Ashli became one of the founding legal interns in Seattle University’s Domestic Violence Pop-Up Clinic. In this role, she assisted survivors of domestic violence in filing for, and obtaining, domestic violence protection orders. Ashli was admitted to the Washington State Bar in December 2021. Her legal practice focuses on trust and estate litigation and real estate and business transactions.In her free time, Ashli enjoys running her favorite routes throughout the 30th District, and spending quality time with her boyfriend, parents, siblings, and two goldendoodles, Bennett and Archie.
