Chris Vance has been a Washington State leader in politics and public policy for over 25 years.
Vance spent two terms in the Washington State House of Representatives before becoming the youngest person ever elected to the King County Council. After eight years on the Council he was elected Chairman of the Washington State Republican Party. Vance has worked as a public affairs consultant, served as a senior advisor to the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and now serves as the Communications and External Affairs Manager in the King County Assessor’s office.
In 2016 Vance was the Republican nominee for the US Senate, then left the GOP in 2017. He is now an independent, actively trying to build a centrist/reformist alternative to our current two-party system.
